Biography

Cordell Richardson is a dynamic entrepreneur, community leader, and innovator with over 15 years of professional experience in Information Technology (IT) and a proven track record in business and agriculture.

Professional Experience

As the Manager and Owner of the Exotic Group of Companies, Cordell oversees a diverse portfolio of businesses, including Caltel Farming, Exotic Car Dealers, and Exotic Trucking & Heavy Equipment Rentals.

Through his leadership, these ventures have grown into successful enterprises, making a significant impact in Anguilla and beyond.

Born and raised in modest circumstances, and to modest parents in the Rey Hill community, Cordell’s journey is a testament to his relentless ambition, vision, and hard work. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Liberty University, and for over a decade, he worked as an information Technology Teach for a short stint before starting his careers as a System Analyst in the Department of Information Technology, within the government of Anguilla. There he played a crucial role in modernizing the public sector’s IT systems. His brief stint at the Department of Agriculture further deepened his connection to farming, a passion that he nurtured from an early age.

In addition to his IT career, Cordell made remarkable strides in agriculture, where he implemented hydroponic technology to revolutionize local farming. Under his leadership, Caltel Farming has become a prominent provider of fresh, locally grown produce, supplying homes, supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants across the island. His innovative approach to farming has elevated the industry, ensuring food security and promoting sustainable practices in Anguilla.

Cordell’s entrepreneurial acumen is matched by his dedication to the community. As the former President of the Drag Racing Association for nearly five years, he successfully promoted the sport in Anguilla, engaging with youth and collaborating with various government agencies and stakeholders to advance the sport both locally and regionally. His leadership in this role demonstrated his ability to unite and inspire, especially among the younger generation.

Now, Cordell is taking his commitment to the people of Anguilla to a new level by running as a candidate for the Anguilla United Front (AUF) in District 4. His campaign focuses on economic development, sustainable agriculture, youth empowerment, and community well-being, with the aim of driving positive change across the island.

Cordell’s leadership, business insight, and unwavering dedication to the betterment of Anguilla make him a standout figure in both the public and private sectors. He is poised to continue making significant contributions to the island’s development, ensuring a prosperous and sustainable future for generations to come.
