Education and Mentorship

The Parliament successfully hosted a youth leadership forum focused on empowering young citizens through mentorship and networking opportunities. This initiative brought together students from across the region, including participants who travelled significant distances to attend.

The forum was organized under the theme "Mentorship as a Catalyst for Youth Leadership: Empowering Tomorrow" and aimed to strengthen connections between young people and established professionals while fostering leadership skills essential for sustainable development.

The programme featured key sessions focused on essential aspects of youth development:

Youth in Governance - This session examined the critical role of young people in governance and demonstrated how positive youth engagement translates into sustainable national development.

Mentorship for Success - Led by accomplished professionals, this session explored the challenges faced by students and provided practical guidance for navigating their educational and professional journeys.

Following the formal sessions, participants engaged in social activities designed to build camaraderie and create lasting connections for ongoing peer support and mentorship networks.

This initiative reflects Parliament's commitment to innovation, mentorship, and strengthening engagement among youth. Through such programmes, we aim to inspire the next generation of leaders while fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development that will benefit our entire community.

The success of this forum demonstrates the vital importance of investing in our youth through structured mentorship opportunities and the positive impact that results when experienced professionals share their knowledge with emerging leaders.
