Biography
The Honourable Evans McNiel Rogers is a veteran Parliamentarian and dedicated public servant. Since the elections in February 2025, he is now the Senior Ministerial Advisor – Health.
Mr. Rogers’s political career began in February 2005 when he was first elected as the Representative for the Valley North constituency, a post he held for over seventeen years. In 2022, he temporarily resigned from his role as a Parliamentarian to focus on family health related issues.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to public service, Mr. Rogers successfully returned to elected office in February 2025 as an Island Wide Parliamentarian before being appointed in his new role.
Education
Mr. Rogers is a graduate of the College of Art Science and Technology (C.A.S.T) now the University of Technology (UTECH) in Kingston Jamaica and a graduate of Tuskegee University in Alabama, where he studied Medical Technology.
