Biography

Hon. Perin Ainsworth Bradley was born and raised in the close-knit village of South Hill, Anguilla, where his deep sense of community and service was first nurtured. His early education at Adrian T. Hazell Primary School and Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School provided the foundation for his lifelong commitment to public service.

Perin began his professional career in the financial sector before pursuing higher education abroad. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and later completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Durham University in the United Kingdom.

In 2005, he entered the Anguilla Public Service, where he served in progressively senior roles including Deputy Registrar of Companies, Compliance Manager, and Comptroller of Inland Revenue. His contributions to strengthening Anguilla’s financial governance and advancing international tax transparency earned him the Anguilla Public Service Image Award in 2015.

In July 2016, Perin was appointed Deputy Governor, with constitutional responsibility for the leadership of the Anguilla Public Service. In this capacity, he has overseen major reforms to improve efficiency, accountability, and responsiveness across government. He has placed particular emphasis on capacity building, professional development, and the creation of a modern, service-oriented public administration.

By virtue of his position as Deputy Governor, Hon. Bradley is also an ex officio Member of the Anguilla House of Assembly. In this role, he contributes to parliamentary proceedings, ensuring that the perspectives of the public service and the principles of good governance are fully reflected in national decision-making.

Outside of his official duties, Hon. Bradley lectured at the Anguilla Community College and served with the Anguilla Community Foundation, reflecting his commitment to education and community development.

A devoted husband to his wife, Hyacinth, and proud father to their daughter, Morgan, he values family above all. He is also an avid scuba diver and reggae music enthusiast, with a lifelong passion for Third World and other icons of the genre.
